Emily has held business development roles in media and tech startups for most of her career. When she encountered a problem trying to make a career change, she launched a company to try to solve it. Please Ignore Us was inspired by postings she saw on social media about talented people falling through the cracks in the hiring process. The bias? Chronological age.
She’s enthusiastic about DEI&B and enjoys working with companies with a social impact mission. In addition to highlighting a person’s skills, she talks with experts about how not to be ignored.
